This album was released along with the invitation to the World Harmonica Festival in 2013. Sirius were invited as jury members. Ming-Hsien Tsai, the chromatic harmonica player, broke the record of the youngest judge at the festival. Sirius was the first Taiwanese harmonica ensemble to be invited to host a workshop and perform in the gala concert at this premier event.
The album was created to remember this important milestone for the band. It consists of the band’s repertoire at the emerging period. Among them, the Theme From The Green Hornethas been the opening song for every concert for more than five years. The piece has been rearranged by Sirius to showcase the unique characteristics of harmonica. And it never fails to “warm-up” the audiences during the concerts. Contra is the suite in the video game, Contra, produced by Konami, creates a sense of excitement in the deep lows and fast notes, depicting the muscular man fighting in the jungle.
Four Seasons of Taiwan – Loving the Year Round, the last piece in the album is a special soundtrack. That consists of a uniquely crafted collection of harmonica sounds from all over Taiwan, aimed to bring sounds of Taiwan to the world.
